Solid Waste: Leaching on the health and aesthetic beauty

Caption: The picture is taken a right outside the society I live in. The society is located in one of the very posh areas of the city. However, stepping outside makes me wonder if the residents and I live in between the waste dumping grounds. There are several landfills and waste bins located with the parameters of the residential space. It stenches the air and attracts the mosquitoes and flies, leading to airborne diseases and infections. It is not something that one would want to see every day, given that he/she had bought the house in one of the reliable and costly areas. It merely does not look good to the eyes when you leave for the office in the morning in a fresh mood or comes back in the evening tired. Indeed, there must be a designated areas outside the residential space to place these bins. We can see how a mess the containers have created by fallen on the ground and the waste spread.

Caption: We have always heard about people dreaming of living in a beautiful city, surrounded by gardens of flowers. But who could have said there could be a time people will surround by sewage and full of substantial dump? It is a real hazard in creating a safe and healthy environment because people are not bothering about it. At the same time, the authorities do not want to take any such actions against it. The local government and municipality are the least bothered about the cleanliness in the residential areas. The outcome can be seen in the above picture. It also has one more major drawback, which can be seen in the monsoon when the solid waste's blockage stops the water flow. The stuck water overflows on the street’s ad enters the houses and shops nearby.

Caption: What is the importance of having a beautiful green recreational public parks when the municipality dumps the stinky solid waste right outside it? Yes, just at the back of this wall shown in the picture, there is a beautiful green park for people to come and relax, exercise, or sit and enjoy their peaceful morning and tiring evenings. Well, who would want to go to such parks where the air smells like thousand-year-old rotten asparagus?

Caption: Not only humans but all beings, including animals, are impacted by improper solid waste. Solid waste has physical and toxicological impacts on animals. Plastics and metal particles and harmful gases are ingested and inhaled by the animals, impacting their health and damaging their digestive system. Calling on all those animal lovers who claim to be animal rights activists, is it fair that our improper management and lack of attention are born by innocent animals?

Caption: This is the place where I live. Here the mornings are full of stinky trashy smells of last night's rotten household garbage. Evening intruded by the trash and sump spread all over the streets because the municipality's great bins are always overfull. Join me living surrounded by a great and lovely atmosphere!
